Who is Elph?
Elph is a UK and Ireland based artist reshaping genre in the electronic age. His psychedelic wonky-yet-funky style takes from all corners of the sonic spectrum; from the funky grooves of jazz, to the glitchy beats and psychedelic textures of dubstep and glitch hop. Drawing from the environment of jazz clubs and the energy of electronic dance floors, Elph creates music that invites listeners into a future where all genres can meet on equal terms.
Cosmic Speakeasy
Cosmic Speakeasy is Elph’s debut concept EP — a journey through a secret intergalactic nightclub where jazz and electronic music intertwine. The project tells a story: Elph, a saxophonist, finds himself in an alien speakeasy where each track reflects a new chapter of the night — from his first steps inside, to euphoric jams with extraterrestrial musicians, to strange cosmic drinks that twist perception, to the communal warmth of a late-night come-down, and finally, the sunrise walk home.
The EP doesn’t just fuse genres — it fuses cultures, worlds, and experiences, inviting listeners to lose themselves in an interstellar jam session where everyone, human or alien, belongs.
